I should probably explain that those "cac" folders on the right... those are for the new military ID cards... "Common Access Cards"... not anything else you gutter-minded bums.
The toolbar near the top left is everything in that folder. I'm a network administrator for the USAF here. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

This was taken at 1280x1024. I use my desktop to store files which I am working on. Then when I finish a piece of work or session, I tidy them away to where they should be.

I was just going to post the BeOs desktop, but then I figured that dual monitors was too good to pass up, so I compromised with VNC. <img src='http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~cbaker/pics/desktop.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image'>

I've recently been making a lot of stuff in Photoshop, which explains the abundant amount of jpgs; the desktop is the easiest place to save my stuff to before I decide to delete it or organize it.
On another note, I don't know how you people can stand having a white or similarly bright desktop, my eyes would burn out looking at stuff like that at 3 am.
Edit: Curse you and your bandwidth limits, myimgs.com!!!
