the first one was amazing i loved the first one. then the second eh it wasnt all that great but cool special effects, as for the 3rd and "final" one i think it isnt going to be all that great, it was released so early but whatever it seems they rushed the movie to release it early. but whatever ill go watch it eventually in the movies

They made it at the same time as the second one, they didn't rush it, they held it back for several months.

yeah, matrix 2, matrix 3 and the game "Enter The Matrix" were all filmed at the same time. Ambitious.

Matrix 1: Empire Strikes Back (Really, really damn good)

Matrix 2: Star Wars Ep. 1

Matrix 3: Star Wars Ep. 3 (Haven't seen it yet, but I'm positive it'll suck just like the last one)

That's like hoping EA Games makes a spectacular game that isn't riddled with performance problems, bugs, or just doesn't downright suck.

I don't know, the first two were just some whatever-blahblahblah Anakin's life story.

Episode 3 will see him turn into Darth Vader, and hopefully we'll see some episodes 4-6 resemblance and action

I loved the first movie, with the new "bullet timey" effect and such, and then every game and movie in the world started stealing it. By the time the second movie came about I had gotten a bit sick of bullet time, but the Wachowski brothers ROCK. They made reloaded great, but not as good as the first, revolutions *saw just now, began 7:30 GMT and its now 10:15* was extremely eye pleasing, but not as good as the first.

Liku hates them too. Maybe the two of you should form a Matrix Haters club.

First off, I don't understand half these people. Everyone that said they loved Matrix 1, and didn't like 2, can't give me a good reason. OI!

I need to see 3. And oh ya- whats wrong with eps 1 & 2 of SW? I liked them. 'Specially 2.

    <--Romance fan.

I liked the original a lot, simply because it was fresh on the streets, had a lot of downright cool (and I mean the original vinegar-strong version of the word, not the watered-down "everything's cool" attitude of some little scruffs) ideas... it practically made Bullet Time de rigeur for the action genre.

Reloaded, however, was a different story. In my eyes the script was weak: obtuse, indulgent and at times overlong, with some really poor lines and a severe lack of character development compared to the heady heights established by the prequel. Especially bad was the whole Zion section... that was like frickin' torture for the senses, suicide was a viable option as it dragged on and on and on...

Keanu Reeve's classically wooden acting was thankfully subdued in the original, but coupled with the afformentioned appauling screenplay which amplified his acting to pine mannequin levels it came to the fore in Reloaded and really hurt my enjoyment of the film. The fight scenes were decent, if slightly ridiculous, puzzling and (for the Burly Brawl) a bit too obviously computer-generated, but I demand more from a film these days than just mindless violence.

Frankly I expected better, but I realise I won't fully appreciate it until I see Revolutions, which I am looking forward to.
