<div class="IPBDescription">You know, ATI and Nvidia. Ya nub.</div> <a href='http://www20.tomshardware.com/graphic/20031107/index.html' target='_blank'>http://www20.tomshardware.com/graphic/2003...1107/index.html</a>
Decent review here of the latest prototype by the master himself. The biggest advantage - it competes roughly in performance with top-end cards from ATI/Nvidia, and should cost $100-200 less. Interesting stuff.

Pwned.
Oh wait... I have a 3 year old computer that does what it needs to. I didn't know how to build one let alone have the money.
Your computer may be 3 years old, but if it doesn't have an AGP slot then its motherboard is closer to 5. Get a job, ya hippy, then you can buy all the computer parts and Pachooli oil your heart desires.
Yeah, I'm probably going to get one soon. First to get my License... Grrrr...
Most of all, as MonsE has said, i'll be looking forward to the price drop in ATI and NVidia cards as well.
Once when I was working at a taco bell over the summer, no less, some idiots asking for extra waste food were spraying the crap over the store. I got to kick them out.
On-topic: I would be refreshing to see a new competitor. Hopefully they do get their act in hear by 2005-2007ish,
EDIT: Holy god, the Volari Duo has dual GPUs, and 512 video RAM... god...
Here's some specifications...
It's in Kraut-speak, but I'm sure you can manage.

For their first-released set of cards, they certainly hit it on par with ATi and NVIDIA, but for dual GPUs and 512 RAM, I'd expect better performance. Oh well, it's only their first.
very solid? I don't know, it might be just benchmark pumping, but it might be just me. I'd rather wait for final benchmarks before judging how "solid" it really is.
Ati should introduce double R350 cards to get more money <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Or invent PCI 9800's and allow them to stack (like the Voodoo 5's was it?) to put 5 of them in our pressure cookers.. er computers.
