Ok.. Wierd Errors

<div class="IPBDescription">WTH is a steam used ticket...</div> right now i'm unable to play steam, because it tells me i have an 'invalid steam user id ticket' i'm just wondering what this is, and how i can fix it. :/

    Must be the new update. My Steam was working fine till I got it. Then I got the ticket error.

    getting the same error.

    logged off and on, closed the program, reset the computer.

    nothing is working. must be a big problem on steam's end. I have a valid HL CD (from 1998 baby!), but I can't play any HLgames now (CS, NS, DOD, etc).

    I fixed mine. here's how.

    1. open steam (steam itself, not a shortcut to NS or anything).
    2. right click on the icon in your task bar (bottom right of screen)
    3. pick "settings" from the menu
    4. click the "log out" button.
    5. restart steam and enter your email/password

    worked for me, I was just playing.

    Note that there is currently an issue preventing many of our users from connecting to game servers (User ID Ticket Error 34). A fix will for this problem will be released momentarily.
