<div class="IPBDescription">now matches Hudson!</div> I reskinned the Ape suit to match the Hudson model's khacki and camo scheme. Not bad for a few hours' work. The file can be found here:

He's from metal slug 4. You shoot open a crate and he pops out, then "touch" him to "activate" him. He's a friendly invincible AI that shoots and follows you.

It's the head that's the worst part of the apesuit- that's what holds it back- not the recolor, which I do like, just the model's head in general. The original color scheme looks close enough to the spacesuits in the first movie that it might not look bad with a "bubble" type helmet, kinda like the starcraft marine, IMHO... That and maybe adjusting a few vertexes so the pack doesn't distort so much

Actually that is not a closed-face helmet. If you look closely in a model viewer you will see that it is made of three pieces: an open-faced helmet, an attached facial visor, and IR goggles. There is a face with eyes and a nose modeled and skinned underneath...

I know, that's why I said "head" and not just "helmet". I think you did good reskinning work, I was just pointing out what I felt was a shortcoming in the model itself...
