    it says hl launcher has encountered an error and needs to close.....ive posted about this b4 and nothing helped i am just **** that ns staff arent trying to find out what is wrong

    What are your system specs? Are you running steam? Have you Tried an uninstall? The ns team has better things to do, they have to work on the new version coming out soon. No other mod fourms would be any better. So chill out man

    Is this some 3rd party program?

    If so:
    Go to their forums

    If you meen the ingame browser

    delete all your hl configs and load up hl again. go to options and set that up in each mod.

    IF REINSTALLING NS DOSENT WORK TRY REINSTALLING HL.

    I just had a similar problem and it was solved right here on this very Tech Suport Forum a day or two ago. The problem could be your firewall. If you are running ZoneAlarm, you should downgrade and get a previous version. That can be found <a href='http://www.tweakzone.nl/downloads/3964' target='_blank'>here</a>. If you're not using ZA, try it anyway.

    Just a tidbit of information... Half-Life launcher is what windows xp calls any Half-Life mod (or HL itself) when it crashes. If you have CS Retail it is called Counter-Strike Laucher. Its basically referring to hl.exe or cstrike.exe.
