This Strange Problem That I Have, Please Help!

<div class="IPBDescription">-.-</div> I have this _strange_ problem with Half-Life, it works in "slow motion" like in bullet time, it's kinda funny cuz i can levitate with JP etc <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> other players see me moving in slow motion too, but it has no use to me.

Anyone else had the same problem? (If you had the same problem you know what i am talking about) How did you solve it?

My system is:

1 ghz AMD DURON
384 megs of SDRam
GeForce 2 GTS
O/S Windows XP Professional

so NS should work fine with a bit of tweaking <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

The thing i have already tried:

hfps configs + lots of tweaking
installing the newest GeForce drivers
Disabling VSync
Tried every graphic mode (D3D, OpenGL, Software)

But the problem still continues.. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

Help if you can!

    Sounds like heavy CPU load, if u have mirc, find and download moo.dll and associated files, there u will find you can see how heavy your cpu is proccessing, but that happens to me whenever my VC decides it wants to start a scan in the middle of any game, not just half-life.

    AHA you have win XP, just ctrl - alt - del at desktop, go to processes, read down the CPU column, and close the task that uses the 99% CPU.

    God i hope thats your problem, for your sake :/ the alternative is a piece of hardware is on its way out <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    God, I REALLY hope I don't lose any hardware becuz I'm broke <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    ok, here is the deal

    CPU ussage or anything like that could NOT effect NS like this!

    basicaly, you state that you have constant controll, yet everything moves slowely (and other player see it as this)

    I would suggest that you run with net_graph 3 on and see if ping/choke/loss are odd

    I would personaly like to see this ingame, so either contact me on ICQ (48813782), or in Steam (My usser name is Thansal and my name is Natural Selection)

    This post also talks about the same problem. Maybe move one into the other. <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=18&t=52449&hl=slow' target='_blank'>http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/in...t=52449&hl=slow</a>

    GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    Threadomancy?

    Please do not raise dead threads.

    If there is something imortant in them simply quote it in the thread that is active.

    There seems to be no active thread and nobody has solved the problem that a lot of people have. In one of your threads you wanted to see it in action. Did you ever? I've got time right now.
