    Add me to the list too.  It also would be helpful if you gave some *FULL* links to some online ones.

    Read through all of <a href="http://www.graphic-forums.com/showthread.php?threadid=85" target="_blank">this</a>. Add to bookmarks, rinse and repeat for each tutorial.

    I tought myself completely, I've never read a tutorial in my life <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    Although that could be the reason you didn't mention me in your post title <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

    I don't use tutorials. They teach you a single way to make an image, without focusing on artistic vision or any kind of learning about how to produce an image.

    I say, open up an 800x600 canvas, get some base images from google search, and experiment until your mouse wears out. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    That's what I've got my friend for, I was also going to ask where the gradient tool was. Well doh to that! He's of the same mentlity, he'll push buttons until he corrupts the file somehow. (Exaguration) My style is to find out stuff and then guess how you could use it. For instance it would be very hard to find out how to use a table for web page organiztion by accident. I made some simple bordered text off of just the members table for NSF and my own additions, didn't even borrow code from anyone else.

    Me and my friend work well together and he's already found some interesting stuff, now I just need to figure out <i>how</i> he did it, and for that it might help knowing what the things are suppose to do. Any way thx guys, I'll see if that helps me after school.

    My current bookmarks about Photoshop:
    <a href="http://www.eyeball-design.com" target="_blank">Eyeball Design</a>
    <a href="http://www.phong.com" target="_blank">Phong</a>
    <a href="http://robouk.mchost.com" target="_blank">Robouk-Designs</a>
    <a href="http://www.effectlab.com" target="_blank">effectlab</a>
    <a href="http://www.eyesondesign.net" target="_blank">Eyes On Design</a>
    <a href="http://www.photoshopcafe.com" target="_blank">Photoshopcafe</a>
    <a href="http://www.planetphotoshop.com" target="_blank">Planet Photoshop</a>
    <a href="http://www.thewebmachine.com" target="_blank">TheWebMachine</a>
    <a href="http://www.teamphotoshop.com" target="_blank">TeamPhotoshop</a>
    <a href="http://www.actionfx.com" target="_blank">Action FX</a>

    And I think Tutorials are a good way to learn photoshop. You're right, Fam, they don't teach you artistic style and such, but they can help you to learn how to combine the possibilities of photoshop (filters, actions, etc) and then you can realise your own ideas much better. You can't say: Hey, I want this, how can I do that? but you can read every tutorial you can find (like me) and then you'll have much more ideas how you could do something.

    There are some links <a href="http://sigrealm.com/tutorials.php" target="_blank">here</a>. But unluckily, the best one I think has too many pop-ups <!--emo&???--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'><!--endemo-->
