I would love to see the terrorists build an arms lab so they can upgrade, the plop a couple turrets down to protect it, then run along on thier merry way to go blow up some CT siege cannons.
thats what we have CS for, no? <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> CS has no buildings, CS has personal money(as opposed to team res), CS has "realistic"(not in the least) damage, CS doesn't have jetpacks, CS doesn't have commanders. And if it wasn't said already, I believe there were some technical limitations with having 2 commanders that led to MvM being put off until later. Or abandoned.
The problem about marine vs marine is that it really wouldn't fit the storyline.
To elaborate, and to address the points previously raised: The Frontiersmen and the TSA Marine Corps are two differant military forces. They both recieve funding from the TSA, but they do differant tasks. The TSA Marine Corps was founded to help the TSA uphold the Charter, providing the TSA with an independant military force that could intervene in disputes. Tungsten Hill was the first major occurance of using that force. The Frontiersmen were specifically setup to deal with the alien threat posed by the Kharaa. You don't play as the TSA marine corps in NS, you play as the Frontiersmen.
Thus any corperate squabble or Trans-Gov dispute that required military force would use the TSA marine corps, because that's the kind of stuff they trained for. The Frontiersmen just handle the alien killing side of things.

Not really. Balancing it would be a nightmare, plus the map problems. Really not worth doing.
