<div class="IPBDescription">...regular NS</div> Yeah. I was in a freindly clan practice yesterday, we were done and chatting in the rr. One of the guys said that almost all of the servers run Combat.
Is this true?
I dont have anyrthing against combat, its just that i dont want it to completely overtake Regular ns. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

Besides, I thought it only switched to Combat if you have less players than usual

Not entirely true, i think there's only two dedicated NS:C CM servers, but then again, there's only one dedicated NS server, the other 3 or so are both. I think, at least.
As far as NS:C goes though, i think that there should be more servers for it, it's the new mode and obviously needs more testing than NS does.
This is just my thoughts at least.
Hillarious! Agreed.
pwnt. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
*cough*
I doubt NS:C will take over NS because:
1- NS:C probably gets frustrating
2- NS:C will stop being played if a certain amount of players exist in the server.

Only took me once...according to that, I find it hard to beleive that most people do not get that answer on your first try...if you play the game as it should be played, your answers should be pretty much the same that the real vets would respond with...
Seriously though, yeah. Remember when Sensory first was the best thing ever? Or Movement?
Or when Combat was being played only--wait, that hasn't happened yet =X
Agreed. It's ****es me off to no end.
yep, ns:c gets boring after a while, while regular ns doesnt <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
The answers are chained together, and it's obvious which chain will produce what result.
I answered honestly.

Run combat, or run combat only?
For any server that runs both NS game modes, this won't be a problem. Lots of people join to play combat, then it switches over to classic once the server fills enough. Sure, you're going to see lots of combat-only servers to start with, but within a few weeks I doubt there will be more than a handful.
1. only regular NS
2. only NS: combat
3. only new maps
I think that a good rotation will make co_ maps more like the fy_ maps in CS...fun to play as a break from the intensive stress of the normal game; but not to be played 24/7...
at least NS:C isnt totlally taking over <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
It;s like a kid with a new toy, he;ll keep playing with it to death, and soon after he gets bored with it, he'll go bac to some old habit.
Edit: I retook it truthfully and got average joe. Then I took it again almost 100% truthfully and got vet again. I'm just saying that it was very easy to get the one you wanted.
You kind of missed the point in it...it is not to just get the vet...it is to tell you how you play NS and what others would see when they look at you...
A great player in your mind may be a bad player in another person's mind...it seems like that quiz was based on data trends...so when you answer it honestly with out trying to "figure it out", it will give you an accurate idea of what type of player you are in the NS community.
