When the bots are running on this server they have these icons by their name. Anyone know why?

Wierd...those are veteran icons and I can't see why they would be showing up there. Bot bug perhaps?
Shh.
All Veterans = bots.
Actually its because serverops can assign any icon they want. On the jarhedz public servers you get a PT icon for being a paying member of the server (or at least you did at one point).
I've seen bots with Dev icons etc... all of it.
Kit Fisto IS a bot (screenie must have been taken when he just joined imho) and this server is NOT STEAM.

probobly because a veteran is hosting the server, and so the bots have the same wonid (or something i dunno) and it uses his info, so it displays the icons, i dunno

The server host is NOT a veteran.
RCBots or Whichbots all get veteran status on this server... any more ideas? BTW, this server is recruiting bots and guarantees Vet status! (j/k)

The server op has not assigned any icons to these bots. Good guess though
Man's greatest fear...
We must destroy them now! Lag up their machines!
Death to the 5 pingers!!!!!!
Though this might not be what's giving those bots icons.

cri.tical already suggested this. I assure you this was not the case. I am now curious if any other servers have had this occur.
This server does not run the Server_Ops plugin. Also note the bots getting the vets icon occurs maybe 50% of the time the server is up.

dood!!!!!, chill out, it was only a guess, but usualy bots have a response of 0 this guy has one thats about that of a person with a good internet connection. but chill out man. i just offered a possible answer, and you just explode on me, not cool.
Sounds better than anything I've heard to date...good guess.
The bots have an ID of <0> and I of course have a 6 digit WONID.

If it only happens 50ish percent of the time then there has to be a factor someone is missing out, computers are never random, if u know all the inputs then u can work out the output.

In the past 24 hours all bots show vet's icons 100% of the time, so it's consistent now.

In that case, i think i can answer it.
In the database for icons, as a CM, it was not required to give a WONid since you could just add your STEAM id. Those who didn't submit their WONid had it set at 0. After some random playing around and such by Flayra, he fixed all the other WONid's to unique numbers (Because of problems) and left one of the accounts with a WONid as 0.
This person with a WONid of 0 is a vet. His/her STEAMid is still unique, so this problem won't occur on Steam servers, but the WONid is still valid, so if a bot has a WONid of 0, they'll be a vet. I think this might be worth reporting to Flayra, or someone, to change that database entry to another unique number so this doesn't happen.
they are my babblers.
Oh you tell that to MY computer.
No way in hell to predict when it's going to crash. Maybe 2 minutes after starting it up in the morning, maybe you get a good 2 hours, maybe when you least expect it.
But it will crash, oh yes.
