<div class="IPBDescription">It's n00ntacular</div>Now I'm not like blueman in saying that he sucks, but he's really good at mapping. I really truly suck at texturing and I need help with a lot of entities and stuff like texture lighting.
Here are 3 shots of my as of yet incomplete Alien Spawn #3. Ignore the sky (Just base hl), getting a friend to make me a better one. Ignore a few untextured parts as I'm working on them myself (Yes yes, I'm well aware of the limits) and I didn't add in the Hive.mdl
Anyways.... Please be gentle. I'm bad at this =/

In terms of the skymap, I know you said it's temporary - you should change it (until you get your proper one) to something like BLACK or SPACE - cause the canyon skymap really makes it hard to focus on the architecture cause (well at least for me) the brain is saying "what the hell is a ns map doing in a canyon"
I like the idea of the hive against a big window. I can imagine a huge dramatic nebula outside, with the hive siloueted against it, pulsing away.

Expect to see something soon, I shall try and add everything possible and release some new pics and a test map.
urgh... gotta do sounds, texture lighting, particle effects, etc... WEEEEEEE
