i could easlily see that being used as say, a derringer type of weapon, i mean, i dont know alot about the workigns of guns, but from what i see, its looks pretty small. The only large thingsn are the handle and trigger.

Just wait it gets animated and you'l understand. And there is rails on the reciever and the slide for guiding. the foward and rear movement of the slide is stoped by the "locking roll". That means that you have to remove the roll to separate the slide from the reciever. I didn't draw an ejection port already cauz it would've been almost invisible. The barrel will move backward with the slide for a short distance. It lets the time to the pressure inside the barrel diminishes into a securitary pressure before the bullet starts extracting. And the ammo is 5.7X28mm, a new caliber for pistols and SMGs (FN FiveseveN and P90 already use it). It cause less damage but it is AP ammo.
And Owen, THERE IS an ejector on the reciever....
I'l also add a disarmament function and a firing pin blocking safety. That means that there will be no applied safetys, just like sig sauer pistols.

(putting the barrel more foward and adjusting it's guiding ramp, it'l make the gun a little longer. It wasn't supposed to be like this but in the middle of the animation I had to cheat on it a little because I didn't want to restart it from the begenning. If one day I have a lot free time, I'l fix it. (maybe next hollydays)) For it's size, it's cauz I didn't really paid attention to the scale. It's not a technical plan so I've messed up some dimensions, I've paid more attention on the mecanism concept. The slide is attached to the reciever by 2 rails on each side but I didn't draw them because it would've hide the internal mechanism.
Just a funny fact with FN's FiveseveN's name. FiveseveN (5.7) and they put the first and last letters capitals so it makes FN. For bullet angle it's just a question of adjustments but it is a good point. (putting the barrel more foward and adjusting it's guiding ramp, it'l make the gun a little longer. It wasn't supposed to be like this but in the middle of the animation I had to cheat on it a little because I didn't want to restart it from the begenning. If one day I have a lot free time, I'l fix it. (maybe next hollydays)) For it's size, it's cauz I didn't really paid attention to the scale. It's not a technical plan so I've messed up some dimensions, I've paid more attention on the mecanism concept. The slide is attached to the reciever by 2 rails on each side but I didn't draw them because it would've hide the internal mechanism.
Just a funny fact with FN's FiveseveN's name. FiveseveN (5.7) and they put the first and last letters capitals so it makes FN.
