Soon as i finish gesting!!! my mic headset falls off the top of my pc tower and some how hit the restart button... so there i am looking at a black screen...scratching my head....

That musta been hard to deal with.
One of my first ever computer games barely ran on the second computer I ever owned, a 386. You know how people go through all these crazy procedures these days to overclock their processors? Back then your computer case would have a "turbo" button. Turn it on and you'd go from, say, 33MHz to 66MHz. You had to master the split-second decisions of when to use it in-game at just the right moment so you'd get a crucial part to run more smoothly and be more easily playable; leave your computer on turbo too long and you'd crash from the overheating, or worse, fry your CPU. Sorta like bullet-time in the Max Payne series, or Focus mode in Enter the Matrix, only with real-life consequences.
One time I was in the middle of one of my favorite flight sims (ah, the classics...Strike Commander and TIE Fighter) and was turning the thing on constantly. Since the buttons were right next to each other and looked exactly the same, I eventually accidentally pressed reset. Was just towards the end of a darn hard mission, too. So yeah, I know exactly what you felt and thought when you suddenly saw that black screen
Oh yeah.
And Marik, BOO's story's better.
when someone accidentally hits their bind kill key i laugh everytime...just cause u know they are beating their head against their desk ^_^
man, I did that all the effing time on RAPTOR
I would hit turbo becuase it would slow the computer down, allowing me to dodge cool stuff [hey, using lag hacks just like when I use my 56.k to play ns!] and the turbo was right next to the restart, and no matter how much I tried to not hit restart I would still hit it alot
Once, during a regular 2.0 match, I was going to go onos, but due to my clumsyness I clicked on the button to the ready room.
Not as bad as yours but, yeah...
Just that's laughable.
Aloooonngg time ago, my coputer caught that Buster Virus thing. So my comp was out of commision for a couple of weeks. I was like...okay, I could handle a couple of weeks.
Days gone by without playing NS. I didn't mind, I didn't worry. My Biology class just finished one of their units, and now was heading into a new unit deemed "Natural-Selection". I went through like 3 hours of hearing NS all the time. What's the def. of Natural Selection? Decribe Natural Selection...blah blah Natural Selection blah blah this, blah blah Ns that. I was like ARRHGHHHH, MUST PLAY NS!!!
This however takes the biscuit...i'm playing and my GF pops up at my shoulder...
GF - "I'm just gonna do some hoovering, not a problem is it ?".
Me - "Nah, i've got headphones on, no worries".
My GF crouches down to plug hoover in, suddenly the monitor goes black, the fans wind down and power light goes off...
GF - "That wasn't the stereo I just unplugged was it ?".

Bah, my first computer would crash if you -DIDN'T- have turbo on
Never had problems with frying the cpu or anything, and turbo brought it from 8mhz to 25mhz... Didn't even have an extra fan.. if any..?
Oh well. Great computer though.. didn't run anything near tie fighter.. or anything 3d.. and has less power than a GBA.. and probably less space than a gba cartrige... but heck, it was fun.

Same here. My old computers always had turbo on and never had any additional fans, any crashes or anything. And speaking of those, I loved that the computer never crashed, I just never was so thankful for it, since I wasn't aware of the 'dark future'...
You try to hit the OK button as fast as you can, never caring what the hell you just gave the OK to connect or have cvonnected to. NS comes back up and... your dead, fragged while you were screwing around with the firewall pop up.
So you are spawned and move out, 10 mins go by and all of a sudden the Norton Anti-virus pops up telling you that the connection you just allowed with the firewall has put a nice virus in your system files. You click OK, but the pop up is still there, click OK again and again and again and again, after 20 some od clicks the pop up is gone. You have been killed again of course and realize that the AFK kicker has booted you from the game!

i wasnt injured seriously, only got a small scratch beneath the eye. And a bump on my forehead.
At least you didn't say "NS is a game" when the teacher asks for the different between Evolution and Natural Selection.
