Yes, it's been posted before, but thanks a plenty for finding a link to a streaming version of the video. No more trying to poke my friends into downloading an ~11MB video with a random name.
There were several instances where Mario would have been crushed by objects on the moving screen (where they fade off to the left side). Also, Koopa should have damaged him... it looked like he jumped right through Mario. In my experience, there is no way to make it to the door to Koopa's area unless one waits for the shaky block to fall. Although, it could be just because he's that good...

I can't seem to get the mario link, is that the one where he speed runs it, skipping most of the worlds; the one where he speed runs each level individually; or annother one entirely?

Though some stuff looks a bit fishy in every one of these that has been posted that I could get, I tried most of the stuff they did and got it to work about 1/45 average. It may be increadible but it doesn't seem impossible, I'm willing to bet they're real.
Edit: Unless that guy playing Megaman 2 is the Flash, he is almost certainly using either an autofire controller, or autofire in the emulator. Kinda like cheating for this sort of thing.
BTW, where are you guys finding this type of stuff? Is there a google keyword no one told me about? Did I miss another memo?
*edit* Hmm, I can see it if I turn hardware acceleration down to the 2nd highest (on the player itself, not the whole computer). What does that suggest? *edit*
There's also a video of some mad people beating quake 1(no doubt saving inbetween levels as there where several different people) but they went through all the maps in sequence and completed the game in 12 minutes. The playstyle was just insane, ignore all monsters, blow up yourself whenever possible(AKA rocket jump), bunnyhop and collect med packs. Unfortunetly the file is ~160 MB and I don't have any links to it :-/.
If Carmack had seen this before quake 1 was released I think quake 1 would have been a much different game(as it it's just rediculous that getting hit by enemy grenades is an efficient mode of transport ).

It's the one where he speed runs and skips all but the last world.
I hate people who do that, it takes all the fun out of the game; so many timeless levels in between the first and last world.

I was laughing watching that. I don't much care if it was slowed down, the effect is still flippin' good.
Does anyone remember that video of someone in an arcade? He was playing some variation of "Dance Dance Revolution", where you had to hit pannels with your hands to play a piano tune. Now, THAT was fast (you can tell it's not speeded up because the machines in the background are running normal speed).
Well, I'm not sure I trust the SMB3 one, because when you score 100,000 points you get the trading game thing (flip a card, if it matches other card you get a prize)...He had around 300,000 points by the end, and I didn't see one pop up ...of course, it may just be the korean version or whatever it was.
The MegaMan 2 thing looks okay so far, probably slowed when he played it, but that's okay. If anyone wondering about how fast he shoots (besides the slowing down) you could launch 3 projectiles, and if one of them hit an enemy you could shoot another (put to good example when he plays Bubble Man and the most metal blades you see is 3 (gotta love the exploit on that level too).
My MM2 game also blinked when you had 2+ enemies on the screen. So...I think the MM2 one is good so far, not to sure about the SMB3 one though...it seems a bit unrealistic.

That's not Korean, that's Japanese.
It's really not that hard to see the difference between the 3 major Asian character sets...
Korean is more about ovals and straight lines, Japanese has complex symbols often seperated by a few, or many, simplistic ones, and Chinese is all about the the ideographic drawings and will look a lot like the complex Japanese symbols, called Kanji, because most Kanji is derived from older Chinese.

Watching an 11 mb streaming file on a 56k is murder, so I only watched the first two levels, but you can tell that a LOT of planning was put into this. I find it beleivable that he used slow-mo to further enhance his gaming. I need to do a speed run one of these days.

In Megaman 2, if you paused the game and then unpaused it while falling, after unpausing Megaman would be "scooted" over a few pixels, thereby falling farther away than normal....I remember doing that alot after I found out that little "cheat".
