Badass Grunts, Beefy Weapons
Hey guys, my first post here. I come here very often, and lately finding myself frustrated because i wanna contribute something but i can't draw, skin, model, anything. I DO however have a $900 sound recording program. This weekend i'm gonna start making a sound conversion...weapons, voices, atmosphere...everything. A few ideas i had for the atmosphere were screams, gunfire etc. I really wanna try to make NS a little scarier than it is. As far as the voices...i've always thought that the grunts from half-life single player sounded like ultimate **** kickers. So i've been working on my impressions of them haha. I kinda surprised myself. Anyways, any ideas for phrases you'd like to hear? I'm definitly going to curse. I mean these are soldiers c'mon! Any feedback and ideas are welcome. I'll bump for updates.

$900 audio program?
Hmm... There already are some grunt sounds released not so long ago that were pretty cool (using them right now)
I think what we could really use is some new alien sounds, something to scare marines.

I've been thinking about doing some alien sounds myself, but only got around to doing some onos sounds..
Anyhow, i don't have any 900$ program so by all means PWN THOSE SOUNDS!
make em sound drastic.
"Meds, commander, i'm dyin here!!"
"AMMO!!! AMMO!!"
think of stuff like that that won't get monotonous, tho.
let's hear what you can do with that 900 buks system
dont ya just hate low quality mics that pick up the background noise more than your voice heheh
