Problem On Ns Steam

<div class="IPBDescription"> some help please o.O</div> It seems that everytime the map switches for me, it crashes steam instead of loading the map...so I binded /disconnect to a key, and now everytime a team wins, i have to press it and wait a few seconds for the server to load the next map before joining. But, then, the pinging at the very beginning of the game seems to make it crash as well, so that means I must sit and wait in the readyroom for the game to begin. This is annoying, and aggrivating how when I forget to disconnect, or connect to the server too fast, NS crashes. its somewhat like how in 1.0 you would randomly lag for a few seconds, then NS would crash, except it happens at specific parts of the game instead of just randomly.

EDIT: just to say, this didnt seem to happen the first few days I switched to steam. its just recently happening.

    This wan happening to me for a while... I couldn't really think of why, other then Steam is incredibly buggy with 3rd party mods so far. What worked for me (hopefully for you too ) was updating my nVidia drivers. In fact I learned about the update in these forums. I'm afraid I don't have a link over to that post but, I'm sure you can find nVidia's driver update page on your lonesome if its useful. Good luck. When in doubt, kick the sucker.

    I have the same problem, but not all the time. Some days on every map change it gives me a message : Load Failed, and I have to reconnect, and other days (like yesterday when I was playing) I got though 4 map changes with it happening. I noticed in the games it is not just me, it is everyone. In the beginning of every map, I see about 10 people leave, then come back and state that steam sucks. It seems to just be buggy since steam isn't made for ns yet.
