Hey if homesexuality is what it takes to get a kid with the combined mad mapping skills of myself, zazi and DM then i'm game. Imagine the sexiness! Oh god *passes out*

That would make more sense yes. Saves a mapper orgy anyway. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Looks great, but there are a few texture alignment issues
Such as this one <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> If you don't know, just look at the roof and you'll notic that it doesn't look right. No, not the roof support, the roof <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
And another one, but people will rarely look at the floor <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
If you play it ingame those aren't texture alignment issues, you have to see the map in 3d to realize that its just the screenshot's angle. At least, that would be my guess <!--emo&::nerdy::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/nerd.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='nerd.gif'><!--endemo-->
if your "sucks" is our "creaming our pants", then i <i>really</i> dont want to see your good work for fear that i might DIE due to a heart attack and the awsomeness! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Thanks for all the nice comments. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> Here's some more pictures. That's all for now. Next time I'll post pictures from the Hive area.
And RaVe, just as PaqueMann said; the texture's supposed to be like that. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
i love the variation in the colored lighting. frequent yellow is a nice change from the reds and blues we get all the time. the shadows are also very well placed. looks like fun.

Just looking through the screenshots and noticed how fantastic this map is coming. The architechture is nice, smooth and has varied heights. Even better is that lighting, what rad settings are you using Drunken.Monkey?
Wonders how it would look like with a higher gamma and in game <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Yeah. Not all spaceships can afford to have perfectly level floors. Sometimes, the archetects just have no choice but to bung a giant power conduit or support bean through the center of the spacecraft. And if that means the end-user needs to make lots of 90 degree turns just to walk down a corridor, or has to to duck to avoid smacking his head every third cross-junction, or trips every now and then until he gets the hang of avoiding the ankle-high pipes running along the floor in egineering, well, he'll learn.

Those screens just show us the most beautiful map i have seen since minshaft. For me, with Half life engine, better than what you're doing can't exist. This is very simple.
The map is actually fully playable now. Just need to work some more on the architecture and the lighting. Then I have an early version of this map completed. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
