So, now all of you who are running still running that old and obsolete OS, don't expect any new security patches and whatnot. :P

That's worth a Roffle Waffle.
Perhaps because it doesn't require massive tweaking to play many games acceptably?
Beware though: Win2K support should be ending within a year (from what I remember hearing).
*Looks at win98SE gaming rig, pats it on the monitor*
You can have my 98SE CD when you pry it from my cold, dead, arthritic fingers... or when WINE gets good enough that I won't need it to play D3D games (Thief series, for instance), whichever comes first.
But perhaps I can stick with WIN98SE, cause it runs fine ATM and I don't need any upgrades by now..
