- CPU PII400 Intel
- OnBoard Crystal Fusion? GF2MX400 w/63MB | 128MB RAM

<b>- Detailed description of the problem, and what exactly you were doing before the problem occured.</b>
+ Navigate to <i>"e:\To Be ISO'd\Games\Half-Life\NS\"</i> double click <i>"ns_install_v20.exe"</i>
+ Get msg:
<i>"This Software requires an additional 4412 K bytes free on C: drive to install. Please remove any unnecessary files and try again."</i>
+ Now I have CS installed on my F: drive which has 3gig free "F:\Sierra\Counter-Strike\"
+ My Environment Varibles for "Temp" & "Tmp" point to "D:\Temp" which there is 5gig free

umm, have you tried to free up said space?

you have 5 gigs free on another HD, just shuffle some data and if it fixes it your good to go.

Thats not the point, it should just work . . . . . Everything else I have on my computer installed fine, As all programs go on F:\ which enables me to wipe out C: when ever I want to reformat.

yah, so the installer probably just scans the C drive to see if you have room for temp files. It dosn't know your ussing playing with linking.

So the probable solution to this is to chunk of a K of data on to a drive with something free for a few min or 2 and then move it back.

If you want a solution to your problem, thats probably it.
