Request - Lmg Model

I was flipping through the channels tonight and came across an episode of Star Trek Voyager, and in it they had these really cool Pulse Rifles, which I thought would be pretty cool as NS guns (granted, the ST ones file laser pulses, but sound effects could help this a bit). Anyway, here's a site with screens and everything. There's three pictures of three versions at the top, I was thinking the very first image would be the best.

The clip is right under the barrel, infront of the trigger... it's sort of a long piece that slides forward and then off. If anyone could do this, be appreciated <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    ok, just to let you know, this model has been done, meshed, skinned, and is waiting for an animator...

    contact the author... but that's where i draw a blank, its either mercatorn, or daphisto.... either one of them have that puppy in their WIP stacks... and don't want to animate it... so go talk to one of them, or if one of them were to drop by, they could let us know who it is, and pass it out for me to animate.

    i think the gun itself looks nice, dunno how well it'd fit ingame, but it'd still be a nice piece...

    pistol = type 1 phaser
    lmg = type 3
    shotty = type 2
    hmg = phaser rifle (see elite forces)
    gren = compound grenade launcher
    welder = triquater

    It wouldn't fit NS at all imho.. those things don't fire bullets.. and they don't even have clips!
    They have powercells.. but god only knows where they are on the gun itself.

    Maybe if you beef it up a bit and turn it into a seige cannon...

    A "Tricorder" for a welder isn't that bad of an idea though. You could make it like the one the doctors on the show use, the tricorder in the left hand and the little scanner thing could be the welder's emiter.
