Steam Skins

i was lookin around for steam skin programs when i came across one, using it i decided to make a steam skin and for some reason i did it on natural selection, its pretty good in my opinion

It kind of reminds me of christmas. JI would think that green and red aren't really NS-ish colors. Rather, shades of blue for TSA (check the forum) and Oranges for Kharaa.

i done a blue one but me picture upload site aint workin so i cant get the pic on jus yet, but i must warn you the colours on this program are limited
anyway i was planning on releasing these n ilovesteam, but im asking permission now and ive linked to the site and all.
anyways i fixed the buttons too, they all in line now!

Why dont you use the actual <a href='http://www.shark5060.net/forum/fricken/splash.jpg' target='_blank'>splash screen</a> as background? Its a lot prettier than the old one >:3

I downloaded Steam the day before yesterday, and made a skin for it yesterday.
It's simple, and I like it. Don't care if others do. It's not a NS skin though.

Well, there are easier ways to create Steam skins... some hotkey combination opens a debug menu allowing you to alter the layout, colors, and images from within Steam.

As well, a couple of NS Steam skins have already been made... the Off-Topic forum has links from <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=10&t=50665&hl=steam+skin' target='_blank'>this thread</a>.

That is correct, BUT, you can't save whatever you modify.
If you want to make Steam skins, I suggest checking out these sites:

Apparently Parasite figured out a way to do so. AFAIK, those were created before there were any Steam skinning programs. And have been available for download for a couple of months.
