my only comment is the yellow eyes aren't evil looking.
Red would be overbold and spoil the other facial details.

A mod like Counter-Strike...with more guns...it would be Counter-Strike 2.0. 3teams...I can't tell you how ridiculously hard that would be to balance, playtest and code. If your trying to recruit people, the use of full words usually impresses more then Gfx. Plus, you can't really improve upon Half-Life's basic graphics anymore then just upping the polycount, which makes the game unplayable for low-end computers.

...it's spelled mapper. You need more then one modeler to make a mod, so it would be modelers. Depending upon the complexity of the code, you'll probably need more then one coder. Website makers = Webmaster, which usually is the mod creator(s). If your looking to create a mod, normally you create a definitive idea of what you plan to create, written down so that the mod creation team has a definitive idea of what you want. (Mind you, that little tidbit is taken from Flayra's website, overmind.org) Not to mention you don't even have an idea of what you really want in your mod.
In conclusion, don't flame people, and make sure you have a definitive idea of what your mod will contain.
I see where you're coming from, but you came down to hard without any reasons either.

In response to the "nice work" comment you made, I made a post about this a while back. It would be nice if people said "Nice job, I really like the blahhhh." But it causes no harm and it means that they really like the artwork.
If you post a short response saying you don't like it, then explain why... I'm sure Kylie would like to know, and it's being polite.
Also, in response to his sig... It's a joke people.
As for the use of dodge & burn, I can't say I've used Photoshop enough to know what it's used for. Are the lightning effects your own as well, or from stock images? Were you testing out the tools on the fire effects at the bottom? Either way, if you'd like to fool around with fire or lightning again, I'd like to point you to some <a href='http://www.mousebox.net/tutorials/photoshop/' target='_blank'>PS Tutorials</a> made by a former classmate of mine. I've used the fire one myself despite not knowing much about photoshop, and the step-by-step stuff is quite good. Mix and match with your own techniques and you could probably make an impressive little inferno.
To the rest of you arguing people starting with Lazysam's post onwards: you guys seriously need to both behave yourselves and restrain your urge to fly off on a tangent. If you want to anger each other regarding whatever CS clone is being proposed, go do it in a new thread in our off-topic forum, so that if it turns out this bad again I can lock it separately instead of inconveniencing one of our respected artists here.

yes well the whole pic was a test, all of it i did,, even the bg and lighting,, just testing out different styles, even the clouds had radial - gaussian blue alogn with smudge and dodge and burn,, tonnes of different styles... the devil horse is meant to have wrinkling alienated sorta face, gives it a more devilish grimace. the teeth long and thin blood around its mouth and teeth, more like it feeds upon the ones in hell, admiring the pain he inflicts upon them.. his snarling face in an alienated position gives it a more mythical feel to it.
i also just recently did this pic too,,, thought you may as well check it out..
was done last night,, call it a depressive pic, did it when i felt down,, the poem above it was written for the pic and also for my bf fury ^_^..

Like all of your art, this one is realllly good. The spectral wing effect is very cool, as it makes look...ghost-like at times.
My only beef is that the cheetah/leopard thing is kinda...fat.
*edit* and in response to the sig thing: It's the internet. subtle humor does not carry over well. What may be humorous to one person might be taken seriously by another because we can't see their facial expression

im actually glad you took notice of the part cheetah/leopard hybrid, the reason why its bulky is because its also mixed with a tiger ,,
