Creating A Map With Custome Textures

<div class="IPBDescription">what is needed for it?</div> Iam creating a map called ns_alcatraz, and i would like to add some custome textures - just so you can see who made it( me <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> ).

Iam thinking of a little texture in the ready room.
Now iv got wally, and iam pretty sure that i can create a texture meself but, how do give it to every1 ho play my map?

Does it just download what is nessesary from my PC, and if yes - Iam i just going to tell people to place my custome tex in there ns folder, or are there a better way for me to hand over the texture without manual work?

    When you make a texture you have to put it in a .wad file, these can be made with a program called wally (google). Then when you give out your map also give the .wad file. The name of the .wad file should be ns_/co_yourmapnamehere, and the .wad file goes in your half-life/ns folder.

    If it is only a texture or two - not an entire set or .wad just do the -wadinclude option and then you won't need to distrubute extra wads with your BSP! This is ideal.
