This game is really good, it runs fine on my computer ( the acutal game, not demo <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo--> ) its great, but i got one problem. MAPS, they need more maps!

Who else has Bf1942?

    Just the demo, barley worked and then my sound card decieded to fry its self, cept I was tired so I didn't insist my dad check everything so he didn't find out until after my system was nuked, so now I have an empty c drive and no sound card.

    This game is the first one in a while that I've played seriously. It's bloody fantastic. I strongly urge everyone to buy a copy. The SP AI has a lot wrong with it but nothing beats MP. Cept maybe NS.

    Yeah it is really fun.
    My friend has it and so now i just go to his house everyday and plan with him online. Hell fun when flying planes

    I don´t really like bf1942. It gets on my nerves most of the time. TKers and plane campers everywhere. I´m sure it´d be really fun on a lan party but I just can´t stand it on public servers.

    i have it, i love the game but the lag is impossible, you cant win dogfights with lag like this! i have a 53 ping and im getting 570 ping lag =\

    add "-nocdaudio" to the command shortcut line, like where you would put "-console" but without the quotes. PM me for detailed stuff and an address to send me some money.

    Oh, instead of sending me money, you could send me the RAM that didn't work. I am in DESPERATE need of RAM.

    Actually bf1942 its the sequel of a pretty unknown game called Codename Eagle, they did a poor pr job so nobody ever heard of that game, and the mp rocks as much as bf1942 does, but codename eagle is from the first war =) with sucky biplanes..... anyways i think codename eagle was funnier.....You had a weird chopper that shooted missiles, we used to play that game on lans..... Jeez 2vs2 was funny <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

    Sure.  I found a GRATE server with teamplay and good ping the IP is 64.126.110.34 its going to be passworded at 4<!--emo&:0--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wow.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':0'><!--endemo-->0 PST but other than that its a good server

    anyone know if the minimum processor speed is really minimum?

    cuzi downloaded the demo, and i couldnt really play for all the connction problems (i had, consistently, the lowest ping in the room). and was just wondering if maybe it was my computer. cuz i found some minimum specs and it was like

    800mhtz processor.

    and i was running the demo on my celeron 333. do you think i would be able to run the regular game if i bought it?

    Yer joking, right? Codename:Eagle was a game set in an alternate reality, single player only if I recall. It was a pretty good idea, but they botched the game. They may be alike, but a sequel? Riiiight.

    BF1942 <b>IS</b> a sequel to Codename:Eagle. CE was patched heavily and is now VERY different from when it was first released. Yes, it didn´t have a MP at the release but they patched it in later.
