Invalid Steam Userid Ticket

ok i'm getting the message
"invalid steam userid ticket"
all of a sudden today when i try to connect to any server through steam.... this goes for all servers in the beta and all regular 2.01 servers. I reinstalled NS and still the same thing.
The only thing i can think of is that i installed Ns and steam on my new laptop and then played it on my bud's wireless lan, and i was using the same steam info on both computers although not at the same time.
