Personally I've tired many wireless mice and I have been disapointed with all of them, especially in-game. They seem floaty and innacurate to me, and they've all been returned to the stores I got them from. Right now I have an Intellimouse explorer and a fUnc surface 1030 and I'm very happy with this setup <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->.

wow really? I love my optical mouse.

So smooth for those nice zoomed in shiper shots and everywhere else, smooth and fast.

I dont have any of these floaty inaccurate problems you speak of... <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

Plus no trackball to get crap up in <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

why people be hatin' on the wireless mice? if you're scared of losing reaction time because your reflexes are faster than the speed of light at which wireless signals travel, then I guess you can complain, but... as for me, I'll just enjoy my cordless freedom.

    ... and your battery dependancy
  • MrMojoMrMojo Join Date: 2002-11-25 Member: 9882Members, Constellation
I have the Elite wireless keyboard and the mx700.

It works fine, a lot better than any normal corded mouse, stop the hating.

Battery dependancy : Mx700 comes with two rechargable batteries, and a "base" to recharge them in. It recharges for ten times the use ( 1 min recharge = 10 minutes of use).

    What's the problem?

speaking of the func, is it normal my rubber base starts to get deformed? It makes a couple of bumps on the lower end (around the wrist/their website address) and this is slightly annoying because whenever I lift my wrist my pad gets tilted and the mouse moves around a bit.

If anyone had this and fixed it somehow please tell me <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Is there any way to turn off the green text when you click on those buttons? That's what made me turn it off, I don't need a fourth of my screen covered by giant green text telling me what I clicked.

I wouldn't know, I have a piece of cardboard as my mouse pad. Good thing is, it's larger then a fatpad even.
