<div class="IPBDescription">normaly 60fps, but sometimes 15fps</div> Since I buyed my new graphic card a geforce fx 5200 my fps are normaly at 60 or 70, but sometimes, especially when there are structures or any player nearby, the framerate falls to 15fps. This makes me incredibly angry because when i'm going to kill someone the frame rate drops, and then its like the aim stucks, i can move the mouse but the aim doesn't moves.
1º. It's not a problem of the Mouse
2º. At config.cfg i have ati_npatch and subdiv set to 0
3º. I have all the geforce settings set to max performance
4º. I have formated, clean installation with the newest drivers
5º. Before I've got an ati 7500, and i have exactly the same frame rate, the framerate i set in the config.cfg is 99 . And before the ati card i've got a geforce 2 GTS card; with this one i've got A L W A Y S 50fps, no drops, but due to overclocking it burned.
6º. How can an 5 year old game run slower than the brandnew first persons shooters ?
I know that a lot of guys have the same problem, but IF ANYONE HAVE SOLVED IT OR KNOWS HOW TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM, PLEASE REPLY
I just hate punching the keyboard when my fps drops, because they drop always at the moment when i need them.
