I bought a radeon 9600 xt and I can't even be in half life for more than a few seconds before it crashes out. Will describe sit uation more if anyone appears interested.
I used to have that problem with my 9600xt. Yet I found a d/l for it. It solves some problems but not all of them. I really do hope they make NS ati compatible. I am getting tired of switching vid cards everytime I play NS and halo and such......
It is some catalyst software if you need it here it is. (for radeon 9600xt) <a href='http://www2.ati.com/drivers/wxp-w2k-catalyst-7-962-031202m1-012924c.exe' target='_blank'>Catalyst Software</a> This d/l is specifically for xl-cow, might not solve any of the other problems.

Everythings perfectly fine running around in UT2003 max everything, including fps <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> But NS ... christ I can play for max 5 minutes usually about 30 seconds before it crashes out, my monitor goes to mode 2 and I have to hard reboot <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> Happens with 3.0f as well.
The rest of my system specs are, Abit NF7 AthlonXP 2600 Barton OC'd to 2800 512 PC3200 DDR WinXP SP-1
I am running the latest catalysts from the ati website and also the latest bios revision.
