So, I desided to play on steam to get ready for 3.0.....and i got an error saying that it detected modifications, and i couldn't play on any servers...what is the modling community to do?

well, I use the ns2.0 steam beta installer in flayra's thread in the beta forum here.
Go download it, only problem is you'll have to reapply all of your stuff <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
i'm using Drakes Custom Shotgun IN 3.0e... working fine...
<b>You may be doing one of these:</b>
<b>Have Cheating Death Running</b> -=- Just turn it off <b>Have Cheats Running</b> -=- just uhh, no <b>Have Modified a Required File</b> -=- after installing, select the NS folder, and check the "read-only" box in the folder properties screen (alt+enter is the keyboard shortcut) If you have Custom Models... make them read-only, and it won't read them as "Modified"... odd trick, but it works.
