<div class="IPBDescription">Is it in or was it missed?</div> I remember there being a new function with the squads for the commander to only talk to the selected units. Is that still in? And what key is it if it is in?

    I've heard of that being in, but it's never hindered me from talking to everyone.. maybe its becouse I rarely ever select singe people, but I have always had everyone respond to my coments.

    Well it could have been useful if your a really really organized commander. This way squad A isnt distracted by what squad B is doing.

    It sounded like a good implant to me.

    The disadvantage is the use of indirect pronouns:

    Commander, having selected 3 rines:
    "You guys get to Computer core hive. It is empty and I want to get a pg up"

    Meanwhile a group of 3 marines about to hastle expansion around Eclipse Command will likely turn around and head in completely the wrong direction.


    Despite this, I am all for comm group chat. There are pros and cons for it, but as it is optional, why not implement it.
    In fact, why was it taken out in the first place?

    Well team speak is the most importend thing imho.
    I have the MS Sidewinder GameVoice and there you have 4 buttons for a different team(member) to speak to.
    And in most tactical games (CS or Rainbow6 for me) its perfect.

    And the other thing is that most of the time in NS on public i cant hear what the com is saying cause all talk at the same time.
