Try this again...
In recent light I've discovered quite a bit of wisconsin people, mainly around the madison area. I say we organize something since it would be the logical thing to do!

I'm in Fond du Lac and play NS quite often. I wouldn't mind trying to set up a LAN, I have a few friends who might be interested.

Well, I've had an 8 player LAN game running NS before. We eventually started playing CNC Zero Hour though. So any big LAN should have a list of 2 or 3 games to play in case one gets boring. We usually decide what games we want to play, everyone installs them BEFORE the game, lol, because if you wait until the actual day, you end up troubleshooting for hours. Especially with the less technically inclined people.

I live up in Green Bay, so for me, Madison is quite a drive. The farthest I would realistically drive for a lan would be as far as Fond Du Lac. I plan on heading to a lan in Oshkosh in February, and one in Fond Du Lac sometime after that. Maybe I can get in contact with the event organizers in Fond Du Lac and see if they'll let us use their venue for a small NS lan get-together.

As always, Im always up for something here in Madison. Also, I can talk to the Owner of "Ping Time" which is a local LAN center on State Street. If we got enough people, we could probably get a good discount and no one would have to lug their computers anywhere.

hmm... I just heard from an employee that we could rent the whole place for $100 a day. I'll have to check that out.

Yeah, I go to UW-Whitewater. I could probably grace such a LAN party with my prescence depending on how far it would be =P

Madison is only like half an hour from here..but my actual house is more towards Appleton/Green Bay. I can go either way.

yeah ping time would be a good place to have it... or i go to LANS in madison every so often at Misty Mountain, they have some sort of network set up.. http://www.mistymountaingames.com/MistyMountain.htm
you can look at that and see what they have there who ever will be setting it up.
lets hope we get more ppl

So lets decide, and count heads, reply with Yes I am in, and prefer [Pingtime, or MistyMount.]

Whichever is closer to campus, and only if I don't already have something else planned then.
