How often do you see a group of onoses in a pub? Rarely. How often do you see one onos stomping, 3 skulks biting, a lerk or two umbraeing, and a gorge healspraying in coordination? You don't. How often do you see an HA train with welders making them close to invincible? All the time. Constantly.

I'm predicting that a 3.0 cow with 700/400 will be easier to kill then a 2.0 cow with 500/150. The only reason cows were hard to kill was because of the weird hitboxes.

Maybe you will die more often when its done pal. You seem to forget about the fixed hitboxes. Now EVERYBODY will hit you, not only seasoned players that know where to aim. Even a newbie can hit you with an GL now.......

I think it's going to vary, in 2.0 if an onos was attacking head on the hitboxes were easy to hit, so it will definitely be stronger in assaulting. If surprised by marines, however, I'd expect it to go down faster as the hitbox problems were most noticable side on.
cant add anything that hasnt been said already...onos has fooked hitboxes BUT a train of HA of at least 4-5 should be able to make him retreat or kill him, provided you aint in some **** small corridor. (room with things, ns_nothing anyone?)

I've always completely exposed and hidden myself with Onos, so hitboxes have never really been a benifit. I always get hit with grenades. I probably will experience more damage, still, but then, there's more armor and health.

Onos is still of questionable worth at current (beta) levels. It used to be 900/500 and was still quite killable. It was only a problem in NS:C games where the onos would keep respawning (no res costs).
offtopic but: everything relates to starcraft (ie: skulk is a zergling, fade is a hydralisk, lerk is a mutalisk) but what the heck is a onos? an ultralisk? they don't look the same! <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
