Some Comm Please Help Me Out!

So there u go...some questions you guys may be able to answer right away...though I didn´t get to find a solution...:
1.: How do I assign squads? Someone gave me a hint saying something about special bindings but though I´ve searched the forums I couldn´t find any?
2.: How do I give those certain orders like weld this at that location...defend that location....build this there...etc.? I´ve sometimes seen those at my favorite servers...but still I noticed not a lot of comms use those...Though I believe they are really great in telling the rines EXACTLY what to do... An extra help for those comms around who don´t have or don´t like a mic....

Anyhow your question's answers, it's pretty much the same as a Blizzard RTS setup.
For squads, grab the group you want (kinda the hard part since you can only see so much at once) and then hold down control and press 1 - 5 to assign the desired group number. Then press 1 - 5 to have the specific squad selected, it works with structures as well. (rather useful for observatories for feild scanning, some use the arms lab so they don't have to leave the marines to upgrade, ect)
As for specialized waypoints, it's simply a matter of being context specific, and whether or not you'll be lucky enough to click it right. What I mean is it just depends where you right click, doing "Weld target at waypoint" is just as simple as picking a person or group, and right clicking on the weldable icon, it's kinda touchy but it usually works. As for "Defend target", I beleve that's just right clicking on a structure, but I can rarely get that to work. "Build structure" usually happens automaticly when dropping a building with people selected, I think your supposed to just be able to right click on an unfinished structure and the same will happen, but like I said all this is touchy.
so if your Crouch is CTRL would do :
"CTRL + 1"
this assign squad one, this works with buildings also.
To get specific orders for welding a point, select the marine you want to do the task and click the weld and it should come up "Weld Target at Waypoint". Well, now being told how to do it I´m quite amused about it...Should have figured it out by myself because of my good old Starcraft gaming times...haha...at least now I know...and that hint about controlling the elevators should come in just handy next time..hehe..
