Well, here is mine:

I was in ns_veil, we had 3 hives and the marines had level 3 weapons and heavy armor. Slowly they saved up resources to get everyone to do a train rush, but what happened is a very bad stalemate game. All attention was being focused on the left hallway near the resource tower that was by the marine base. Grenade launchers, hmgs, and onos. So I decide to go around the back where they had 3-4 turrets, I leaped over and came around and decided to stick to a wall and cloak, then I get an idea, I slowly move inside their base but stay out of the observatory, from here I had the view of all the marines inside. So I slowly started to parasite each one of them, doing so I made them go in circles trying to find me, I even got some heavies to walk up and down the hall trying to find me (Dunno why com didn't scanner sweep). I kept on shootin' a parasite at each one and even kill a heavy due to his low health. As I feel happy the server crashes and it was a tie,

The end was bad, but crawling around their base and making it easy for my team was fun. Whats your favorite moment?

Hmm... I remember being a gorge with an excess of res in a game on ns_tanith, so I decided to try and hold double res alone, I was pretty noobish to try it, but gorges could really take the damage in 2.01, so I dropped a couple dc's and a couple oc's.

Marines showed up before I even had my second oc up, but I think I was protected on the side by a dc, it was a pretty cozy spot. Some marines decided to hang back and just shoot my oc's at long range(I don't think I need to tell you how dumb that was) some decided to just rush straight into my oc's(usually in twos or threes, just when I thought I was about to be overrun, a skulk would happen by and lighten the load), and a few of the marines actually tried to go around and kill me, but they did this one at a time, with me constantly being healed by two dc's, that was pretty futile. Eventually this commotion brought enough skulks to slaughter all the marines left and give us a firm hold on the area.

When we got to the readyroom, Paladin swore he was never gonna comm again. XD

But I really felt for him, poor guy, dealing with such newbie marines.

Once, back near 2.0's release, i remember joining a game where aliens had 3 hives, and then 5 minutes later we were forced back to 1 hive (eclipse in ns_eclipse). The game was completely hopeless, I was blaring at my team for being such morons, and getting so stressed out I just about left.

I managed to get res for onos by killing a ton of heavies with just a skulk, and i played them up with sensory as our only upgrade, using Scent of Fear to my advantage.

We finally secured Computer Core, and I could begin stomping the heavies to take out groups of 5+ instead of grabbing one and running off. All i needed for the win was one more good player, and after minutes of hoping and waiting, a clan member of mine showed up, and I was greatful to have him. (At this point, he had approximately 0 respect for me, or anyone else in the clan).

Using good teamwork (I would stomp, he would take them out), he quickly got res to Onos as well. By this time, the heavy rushes were coming much harsher and more frequently, every heavy equipped with an HMG, sticking in groups of about 8.

Using the Buddy System, one of us would stomp one side and lour heavies out of the pack, and wait for a spot to AMBUSH (YES, AMBUSHING HEAVIES WITH AN ONOS), so we could destroy entire squads. By the time we got Maintenance up, we both had well over 100 kills, and now with all upgrades we easily crushed the rest of the marine resistance.

After that, I had actually gained some respect from him, and we be came relatively good friends over NS, and I also vowed I would never say a game is hopeless ever again

[This is probably the biggest comeback in the history of Natural Selection]

Leap xeno is good/bad. Good if you use it, but bad against you 'cause you dont hear the xeno scream.

I think, it was the day i realised why i had felt in love in NS.
We were defending the Great Viaduc hive in ns_nothing since 30 minutes.
I just stopped and looked around me. Lerks were flying around, skulks were attacking everywhere and there was so much movements to defend the hive, all of us working for a same goal without talking. Just working together, and we were tired, but nobody left the battle.
We finally loosed, but i was happy, we were happy i guessed, and i understood the real teamplay of this game.

I feel the same when i leave the Marines base with other marines, fallowing exactly what the comm wants, just making our job.
One guy build, others cover him and the comm knows everytime what we need.

What i prefer in NS are those great moments playing as a team.

playing as marine we had finally our HA train running.. we took out one of 2 hives with little trouble. suddenly someone mutters that we've got no base or cmdr anymore. oh well, hope is lost, we're guessing; we lost the base due to carelessness. the HA train was breaking up, so some of us tried hard to quickly plan a coordinated attack on the last hive. it's funny how much you have to yell and swear through the voice comm to get stupid rambo-player's attention.

following happened: we were 5 HA's when we arrived at the hive.. and it was pretty much deserted.. so we began shooting at the hive, and yelled "SHOOT AT THE ****ING HIVE" to those who didn't. suddenly the remaining kahraa came rushing.. 2-3 fades and some skulks. hectic firefighting ensured. last thing I "remembered" was running out of ammo and getting slashed by a fade.

when the firefight was over the situation was this: the hive was out. 1 HA left, 2 skulks. the first skulk made a stupid move and tried to jump the HA. killed by a buckshot. the last skulk tried to stay out of the line of fire in the safe position behind two defence towers. the HA didn't rush it. my guess is: low ammo and low health. so they circled around each other for what seemed like an eternity. the tension rivaled that last scene in the good, the bad and the ugly. the HA makes a run for it, jumps over the DC's and shoot the skulk.

blam. not much of a victory. but one man lived to tell the tale. or something:)
