  The weapon animation bug, where the weapon animation doesn't always play, could make it seem like your pistol or knife isn't working. I'm not to sure about your upgrade problems. I'd test it out and submit it as a bug in <a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showforum=38' target='_blank'>this forum.</a>

  Umm... When you can't use them check the bind in the console for that slot and make sure it's still set. I know Steam messes with my binds for no apparent reason sometimes. Other than that I don't know what to tell you.

  no i can select it and a model comes but in the weopons menu their red and i can't use em.the pistol will fire bullets but it won't do damage and won't make a sound but sometimes it works fine.
