Marine Rough Sketch/color

<div class="IPBDescription">Let's Mooove out!</div> I drew this tonight/today (2:50am) with my trusty mechanical pencil, scanned it and colored it (done at 3:50am) in Photoshop.     I think I see some potential here. That is pretty decent for a sketch. I would like to see what you can do if you were to draw an actual picture, that is in saying not a sketch, but something that would require some time. Its totally up to you, but I am intrigued by your talent.



    The knife, like someone said before, just doesn't look right.

    The HMG on his back looks a little, just a tad, off center. (It looks as if you could see the bottom of the stock, or the 'ring' of the barrel, but just a little bit of it. I can't tell which way it is leaning more towards)

    The marines face is somewhat bland, try adding shadows and more detail to his skin.



    I know this is a sketch, but once again, I can tell you have talent as a drawer and think you should atleast see what you can do if you put your mind to it.

    I really like the sketchy style, I wouldn't even call it a 'sketch', it's a cool picture already. The proportions look very good to me, except maybe for his head, which is a bit too narrow (just a tiny bit). The knife looks just okay (maybe it's a retractable one, so it was just extended out <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> ). Good work!

    Yeah there are still some changes that could be made to the drawing, it's not exactly perfect. Knife is bent, HMG is off, head is too tall, face is lackluster. Overall needs polish, but for something done in about an hour I'm not gonna be too picky. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    hm, I like this one a lot!
    I like your facial expressions a lot, both in this one and the other HMG one. Very cool, calculating, tried, weathered, experienced look. Excellent, bc TSA marines are just that!

    The HMG is not straight, the stock is lower than the barrel (you probably know this already) and the knife is a bit tilted. Other than that, this picture is awesome! Especially the shadows - thats the first thing I noticed. nice.

    lets face it i cant draw worth 5h17 but im a good ritic soooo here my thoughts
    head looks a little lop sided maybe a little to long
    the knife just looks plain bad
    take away those little faded lines and u got urself a masta peace !
