Skulk Walking Sounds

I have noticed this mostly on co_maps
it seems that when you are in some vents [may be tecture related]
the skulk has no footsteps.
it doesnt apear to happen with metal tectured vents or passages

    wouldn't this be becuase some vents are so small you walk through them instead of running.

    well that is possible but once i find the map name i will let you guys know
    the vents are rather open and i have not noticed ever being forced to walk
    that and the footsteps come and go with tecture changes in the vents

    Please do that. In order to make good bug reports you must produce steps for us to follow in order to recreate the bug or phenomenon. No cigar, phasing this to Discussion. Please return with a new report when you can pinpoint the issues with examples from map locations.

    it happens in marine too. and its not only combat, some types of surfaces just dont make sound/lower the sound.

    in co_angst, as a marine ( i think alien too) go down in the elevator from the cc room, and then keep on going. you will eventully reach a room with box shaped dip in the middle that has a little stair like frame all around it. if you go on that frame, you will have a very very low sound. most of the players dont hear it as skulks and can easly be surprised :o

    ps.
    Most red vents dont have skulk's sounds either.

    yar different surfaces make different sounds. some go click click click, some go bonk bonk bonk, some make almost no sound.
