The spawn time in combat is based on how high of a level you are, and how many people are in the game.So higher rank like level10 general=longer spawning time.

Beta 1 spawn times were far superior to the Beta 2 Spawn times, now if the teams have welders / gorges the game will go on forever, until both teams are at each others spawn...
45 seconds was a bit long however, but it should still be based on level, 4 seconds per level would be better, it gives late joiners more time in-game to catch up, and will prevent stalemates, killing those 3 HA will actually mean something and give you a chance to attack the CC...

more players = more spawn time
the advantage is in small games where on 1 v 1, if you died as lvl 10 your CC would be dead by the time you spawned
at least now you dont get vanilla marines until they're lvl 10 and go on upgrade frenzy......
this system also helps those super skulks......45 sec timer for a fully upgraded xeno skulk sucked
