<div class="IPBDescription">It starts to invade on real life</div> I live in an oldish house which when standing on the roof, you can see a railroad running by. When a train comes, the only way you can tell, is by the windows rattling. It's only a small quiet rattle, and it's frequency and intencity depends on the way the wind is blowing.

This morning, I was lying in bed half asleep, when a train went by. As usual the windows rattled, but today, only short half second rattles every second for the length of the train. I ignored it for half a minute, but then for some reason, I thought there was a Skulk in the kitchen! I sat up instantly, but then realised it was just the train.

I had mistook the windows rattling for a Skulk biting at my feet in NS... I felt really silly, and still kinda do. But it's a good story to tell anyway.

    Hmm what about when I walk into her house and sit in a corner thinking she won't notice me with cloaking then realise she's screaming at me... Damn must've strafed again!

    Also i was another one who saw the 3 or 4 times a SIMILAR thread like this came up.

    My favourite was some guy with a shower with mould in it, and he sat there thinking if this was NS that would be a great hive location.

    I was going to the shops yesterday, when I saw a skulk in the street! He saw that I noticed him (no-one else could!) and came after me! I ran, but then he lept AND BIT MY FACE OFF

    Then I woke up! I was hot and bothered from the nightmare, so I went to open a window. As I opened it, A LERK FLEW IN AND BIT MY FACE OFF

    Then I came to - I had fallen asleep on the subway. When I was getting off, I saw a lamer marine! And he shut the doors on me AND I WAS CUT IN TWO

    Then my dog woke me up, but I realised IT WAS A GORGE AND IT SPAT MY FACE OFF

    Then I woke up. Turns out someone had spiked my banana.

    Once, when I went to school, I noticed a dark spot above my schools door. For a second I thought it would be a great place for a skulk to ambush.... wait, wth am I thinking. (This happened after playing NS for a long time last night)

    And once I heard splashing sounds behind me. I looked behind for skulks, but it turned out to be water falling down from roof.     Sometimes I hear turret pinging when I'm in bed. Not so much nowadays but it used to happen before. Totally off topic but when I woke up this morning I had total cramp in my feet and hands and was lying the wrong way around in bed (ie feet where head should be and head where feet should be).

    If you play or watch too much of anything it can effect you. I remember when my wife and I were moving from Calgary. She held a BondAthon. 26 hours of James Bond and Martinies.

    I can safely say EVERYONE at that party at one point or another had a strange dream or two involving spies.


    On topic, some of my friends have played NS for more then 24 hours.. hell some of them without a life have gone up to 40 hours. I would not doubt it if these guys had dreams/nightmares about all kinds of NS creatures.
