im usign this as my fade, i reskined it defualt, and got rid of the stupid glow eyes thing. and i dont knwo if u realised this, but u just scaled the bones bigger, and it made the fades legs go into the gorund makign it look retarded. so i scaled its bones back to normal now, but the scaled up mesh looks good, cause its nice and beefy. i might re-release my edited version, and fix up that v model for the fade. fade as an onos..... wat the hell were u thinking?

Rhaal, it actually makes perfect sense for 2.0 and earlier builds. The Onos hitbox was incorrect, and was closer to a biped than the quadruped represented by the model. A fade-nos more accurately reflected the to-hit area of the model than the Onos itself.
I was thinking "Hey, it looks great!".... So even if you don't like it, don't express it so unfriendly. You call parts of the model stupid and say I "just scaled the bones bigger". lol? There are *some* more things that were done, and calling something silly isn't very nice. And it did not sink into the ground as Onos in 2.01, I tested it.

Create diablo, make him sort of lean forward and give him a huge tail.

I loved this Hellonos. Made it alot easier to actually hit the onoses, and it was much neater in general.
i hate ressurected old threads, but i must admit, this was a very cool model when the hitboxes were screwed. now they're fixed it kinda needs an adjustment or two... just to fit the hitboxes a bit more mebbe. i'd love to see this in action again, it was soooo good.

I love the hellnos but for the sake of NS model continuity I think you'll have to make it more Onos shaped.
I find it odd that the Onos is the only Kharaa who stands out from the rest. A skulk has a fade like head...... the lerk and gorge are pretty similar and both aren't far from a skulk/fade...... but the Onos looks totally out of place.
I think the Hellnos could bring it into line with the others.
Hmmm OK. Today I've been animating (katana...) for 10 freakin hours thx to Milkshapes stubborness, but I'm almost finished now. This week I have some very difficult tests ahead at school, so the weekend would be the first chance for doing a job with the Hellnos, if everything runs smooth <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->
