    Also there's the fact that you can fire guns while on a ladder, and it would look odd for a guy to fire a gun towards his back while climbing up a ladder with his gun in a strange position.

    Which reminds me, I have a question. Can Marines attack on ladders? Or is their gun like, removed from the screen? I hope they can't fire.

    Yes. As of right now, the LVL5 just touches the ladder, then starts floating up. There isn't much of a way a LVL5 could -actually- climb up a ladder.

    I hope you can shoot on a ladder, the marine is slow and unmanoueverable. A marines only power is his technology and on a ladder against creatures that can wall climb, fly and teleport... well he wont have a chance!

    Again, forget realism, if I saw an alien coming at me Id shoot it even if I had to hold onto the ladder with my legs and Im sure these trained marines could do the same.

    Can another alien set on top of a Lerk and use it as a transport? It would be a bit difficult to stay on but is it possible?

    That would be rather humorous, a Lerk dropship.
