first screenshot of hive : Back wall of infestation is temporary untill i attach the corridor that is meant to go there.

I will add more infestation later.

    I will add more updated screenshots later including pictures of the rest of the map. for now tell me what you think of the aesthetics.

    VERY nice texture/lighting work. It does look a little narrow though, and that means easy targets for the rines. :/

    Actually i was worried about the halls in the pics being TOO wide. Depending on what picture you mean, but the pictures of the hive are a little deceptive scale wise, its quite wide open.

    <span style='color:gray'>O</span>nly problem I have is that you could use some more infested textures in the hive room, it doesn't really look <i>infested</i>. and maybe add some growth on the walls and stuff.

    Looks very good, only problem I see is that the ceilnig in the 2nd picture is extremely flat and boring. Break it up with some detail.

    That lighting on those pipes look awesome! The ceiling on the second screen looks a bit empty, needs some filling up. Other than that great job.

    The corridors look nice and spacious, ut like tequila said, the room looks a tad boring and dominates the pic.

    Exactly, those pipes look good, lighting is good also.

    I'd suggest to you: use those pipes as a 'theme' apply them throughout your map.
    So it would really look as if they're important or something, steam coming out would look neat too.

    Currently i am implementing the piping in the hive in the hallway shown on picture 2. I'll see how it turns out.

    that corridor has one room seperating it from the hive so i don't think i will add any there <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    i'll try to add steam, although i'm not much good at the particle system.

    Its very nice, but I see no variance. All there is are generic and repeated wall patterns with repeated pipe lines. The only thing that looks different from the rest of the map is the hive. Look at eclipse and veil, they use the same textures through out, but the areas look mainly different. We need some more of that kind of variance in there. Not knocking you, just trying to make you think, get some even better areas and quality squeezed out for this map.

    There are different areas, i was just focusing on the hive vicinity which does have a set theme and which i think is my best work so far.

    [edit] you can't judge the map when you can only see the hive and one corridor.

    there is alot of pipes in my map. that name sucks though lol. jk

    [besides] what kind of facility would it be without a rediculous array of pipes leading everywhere?
