How Do You Kill A Fade So Easily?

<div class="IPBDescription">HOW???</div> I hate fade just blink in front of you and your dead. the only way to avoid that is jetpack. one fade could entirely wipe out the whole army with the blink ability. it's hard to aim him, he just blink blink blink and disappear.

But, with at least lv2 weapons and sg it shouldn't be too hard. Even three regular LMG's can take him down real quick.
HMGs are OK but its difficult to constantly hit a good fade while he is blinking around.

Thats the way i kill Fades. it works most of the time for me...
Important thing: dont shoot your shottys to early and of course not to late. Find the right distance to use it.
tell your squad mates too! Very annoying if a guy with a shotty starts to shoot at the fade while he is 10 metres away. He ll come back later and he´ll know that you have shottys.
The simple fact is, if he's blinking, he can't attack, if he's attacking, he can't move fast.
And now that the hitboxes are fixed (huge) you can even hit them while blinking.
With celerity a fade can move pretty fast.

The trick to killing fast things is not to shoot when you're going to miss them, but rather just fire when you have a good chance of actually connecting. They'll just run around, taking almost no damage until you run out of ammo in your clip. Then they kill you while you are basically defenseless. Not to be mean, but those of you who run around shooting corpses deserve to be eaten.
I find that 2 skilled LMGers don't have a problem taking down poor - average fades. They can do that because skilled marines don't miss many shots even when the fade is blinking around, so that's the other thing, you have to be able to aim. Also you never know how low on life a fade is so when it's blinking away from you to escape it might be in a lot of trouble so pour every last bullet you can into it as you can til it's out of sight.
Well the marines would probably be screwed anyways.

Typically i'm not worried about the Shotgunners anymore as i can almost certainly blink out of rang if/when i take a few hits.
HA= slow. I jsut run around him with celerity, not even blinking, hitting him with focus. Going when i have 150 health left, metab to 200, move back in for the final blow before he is dead. Usually, he is gone before I get to 150.

You would own an entire squad of HA rines with HMGs just as a fade all by yourself?
I suppose you can walk on water as well can you?
especially with all newbies lately. Anyone can get a lucky shotgun shot. Its the point of a LMG to nail all those bullets in. I prefer to be faster then that.
Of course, experienced players I have to take on 1 vs 1. But then a hmg aint a prob. Experienced HMG squads tend to be trickier and I tend to run away fast. :-D
The HMG does damage faster. It also packs more damage per magizine.
Starting with base damage, the shotgun can deal 1360 if all it's pellets hit and it has no upgrades.
The HMG without any upgrades is capible of 2500.

yeah but the damage of a shotgun is doubled against buildings. HMG does half the damage against buildings as far as i know.
you also have to think about the time a fade is around you. hmm some seconds? The HMG needs really a lot of time to fire 250 shots. Meanwhile the shotty fires its clips very fast.
Hmm would be worth making a test how many shots you can fire with a HMG till the shotty has finished its clip. I´m gonna test this.

And the shottie isn't doubled against buildings, it's just the HMG is halfed. So you are correct that the shotgun is a better anti-structure- the HMG is nothing more than in inaccurate LMG to buildings.

shotgun: 8 Shots in 5 seconds
HMG: 70 Shots in 5 seconds
this means: (in case you hit with every bullet)
shotgun: 1360 Damage in 5 Seconds
HMG: 1400 Damage in 5 Seconds
hmm. seems like they are nearly the same. (ok ok HMG makes more damage)
big disadvantage of the shotty is: you have to reload after 1360 damage.
