<div class="IPBDescription">from a sekrit combat room...</div> yeah, some of you will be all "omg welcome to last month" and some of you will be all "omg wth is that", but I was shown a secret room in a NS combat ready room just now, with a message written in rune-like symbols, and I was wondering if anyone knew the translation...

    yeah I really hardly know any NS map easter eggs :> I know this one, and that one where you jump in the air in that ready room to see that hall of faces of ppl who I assume are developers...

    I'm such a bad NS fan -- I never even remember map names... =P

    laff I know the runes from the Ultima series, and yeah, I was gonna translate but came to the same conclusion: too hard :>

    I bet there's some good cryptography software out there that would do it for me...

    Those are actually Stargate SG1 Gate Address'. I believe (not totally sure) that the first one is Lord Yu's home world. The second is Socar's planet. The third is the special one that goes to the Asgard homeworld. And the third goes to the Nox.

    It's just a font. It's written in english.     If you find the font, it's easy to find out what it means.

    Actually, it does look similar to the font used by the Asguard, but it's definitely not the glyphs on the Stargate.

    He did say he was making it up, but even so they're too long to be gate addresses! There are only something like 7 chevrons in a gate address.
