It has become way to easy for the aliens because of devour.
ESPECIALLY on small player maps.

    And? your point is? This isn't a suggestion, and barley the start of a discussion, this is just flame bait! Besides if an onos can devour a marine, he can also gore a marine, so what do you suggest?

    Marines should be able to do a utensil rush, and eat the Onos.

    Let me rephrase then.

    1. If I was being eaten I would sure as hell fight back inside the stomach... even if it was just limited to knife or pistol. IF this is limited to knife the attack level should be slightly higher for being INSIDE the onos instead of trying to hit through its tough skin.

    2. Devour should require 3 hives.

    And assuming that you have space to move your arms, and that the Onos wouldn't have paralyzed you with a neurotoxin on the way down, and that there would be oxygen in the stomach to allow the gunpowder to burn, and that the gun wouldn't jam on the fluids, and...

    (edit) Forgot at first. This idea (Marines fighting back while devoured) has been suggested numerous times in the Ideas & Suggestions forum. Use the search function in there, read over the past threads. (/edit)
