Downloading Problems

<div class="IPBDescription">tried about 10 different locations</div> I"ve been trying to to download ns 3 b1 for sometime now. I keep getting either corrupt file, please download again or the file has 0 bytes to it. I've all the us locations, a couple in canada, and even my former home, iceland. and even a couple in europe. this is getting annoying because it takes me a good hour to download it each time. I've also tried at different times of the day, just to make sure i wasn't getting a bad connection. I'm a cable connection and have disabled my virus scanner if that helps to solve this.

I've also tried downloading it on other computers, but i get the same thing. I currently have 2.0, is there a patch that i can download instead of the full 155 meg?

    find some other posts about download porblems, I have written up what bit torrent is, how to set it up, and why it is good.

    well i'm trying this bit torrent thing. i'm hoping this works becuase i just wasted another hour downloading from fileshack

    Hehe, The government has NOTHING to do with shutting down P2P programs (they actualy break no laws)

    It is simply Private groups pushing lawsuits.


    And as for BT going away, nope not gona happen.     I'm pretty sure that the problem is with my computer though because if i try to download large files (over 10 meg), they come out corrupt. I downloaded the same files at work and they came out fine (well except for one). I could have something to do with the my primary hd having no space left (Around 30 meg on a good day). Its only temporary. waiting on the prices for system boards and hd's to come down a bit more before i take the trouble to replace them.
