How Do You Create Gif Images?

<div class="IPBDescription">is there a program?</div> I wanted to create my own GIF for the forums here but i couldnt figure out how to do it...so i wondered if you need to have special software...im sure quite a lot of people know because they have GIF images in their sigs or as avatars...any help would be appreciated...thanks in advance.

    I would just like to say that you have a kickass avatar.

    There is a simple software in creating GIFs. There was a link in the Artwork Forums, let me fetch it--it isn't all that active, can't be hard to find.

    Although I would recommend ImageReady, that one is much easier to use. [/edit]

    [EDIT] also....my sig was changed from an "Average Joe"...was this some sort of admin joke? have any ideas?

    The person who created those images changed them because he or she was tired of people leeching his or her bandwidth (as you seem to be doing). A very long time ago.

    In order to get an image in your sig it has to be uploaded to a website then you put in the link to the image between the img tags and then it should work. If you want a good free host PM me.
