<div class="IPBDescription">beta 2 release</div> ok, I have a combat map which you may or may not have seen. It is currently "kind" of done. I am hoping to get some serious feedback. Especially about a scetion called soemthing like the temp section, it needs some work. But, my mind has wandered on to a ns_ map. so, I'll show this and get some feed back and then go. also becasue my yahoo briefcase is dynamic there are moreadn larger pics <a href='http://briefcase.yahoo.com/brunjes@ameritech.net' target='_blank'>here.</a> obviously under ns and new co map. there is also a map download in the same place.
Story: well, its a routine traffic seach gone wrong. so we have an infested crate
(currently a beer crate) being searched while attached to a frieght hauler.
R_speeds should never go over 700, although this is really hard to check with steam.
With out fuurter ado, Screens. Each one should be fairly self explanitory. although we shall see, first: the hive room, actually the hive is in the huge beer crate that im pointing at.

Not too much is needed on the outside. But it does need a lot inside.
I like marine start, you do like your overhead walkways.
Im not so sure i like the red armory,
but overall pritty good, N1
Overall I like what you have though...... dunno about the beer keg though, it seems kinda strange. I like the shots you have though, lookin really good.

Pash: i was afraid that the armory being red wouldn't make you guys happy, so i may move it .
Reese: the dors are infact random although sometimes they just dont fire, im woring on that. Also how do you feel about a randomized spaceship? and yeah teh beer keg, i was maing a shipping crate and got distracted, the texture will most likely change, but the one i have is a nice place holder.

Belg: well yeah i really just have it for teh window effect not becasue it looks very nice.
I'm thinking of making th lights pulse on and off together to increase the insanity. And, yes its this mind numbingly bright in game.

any way one final picture today. its shaft structure, some of you may recognize it from teh post your screen shots thread.
Im hoping you map on the premise that everyting needs a purpose. Such as sleeping quarters if any are well away from noisy rooms (NS_Mineshaft) Bluddy hell thats a stuppid map.
But anyway....
Hey if you dont mind could you give me a few pointers on the structuring of those rooms cause it fit in with what im gonna try and do at some point.
Im gonna try making a space ship. A propper one with lots of windows looking out onto the hull. Heres a pic (rather large and not finished yet and sugest you dont open this unless youv got a good connection)
