I wanted to try out my drawtabled again, I put it away since I didn't use it... But man that thing has a high learning curve... Very weird to draw on a tabled while the image is on the screen.

The result... What do you think (going to colour it to I think)

    I think it looks very well drawn, especially considering you're still figuring your tablet out. Its nice, colors would make it look awesome.

    P.S. Your map looks pretty cool, too. Nice atmosphere. Will you be able to go in the meteor-stricken part?

    Nice, But most people prefer mouse over tablet for drawing, Tablet is honestly more for CGing.

    tnx I'm going to clean up the sketch a little bit since its a little to rough <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Map question:
    There is one little part which has a hole in it. You can see outside achio (into space)only you can't go there since theres an electric field and bacterium which act as a protection so one doesn't get sucked into space. The rest arround the impact section is damaged, dented, flattened etc...

    The readyroom is going to have one huge hole (alien jointeam) though which a player can get sucked into space towards a meteor. when touching it the player spawns ingame.

    I think the choice between mouse and tables depend on preferance.

    I still prefer the good ol' pencil and paper <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    CGing...
    tabled is digital
    mouse is digital
    Both hooked in to a computer resulting in CG. I don't get it <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    My tabled size:

    40*30 cm ... 15.7"*11.8"
    kind of big and I don't have enough room so I put it on me lap when drawing on my pc (but with laptop-POWER... All the room in the world <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->)

    Thanks. Well I never came past the stage of sketch/colored on paper, but this digital stuff is even more fun to do...

    The eyes:
    Hehe now that you mention it, I think the dude I have drawn looks scared or maybe even surprised to ...

    Ah well I'm still trying to find out how to draw on the tabled. It stil feels weird, not like my goold ol' pencil and paper <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo--> practice makes perfect...

    Ahh! Go Delta-Snipe! You're gunna have a blast with it!
    Heres a good point to note down...use the tablet instead of your mouse for the first day or two, it REALLY helped me get the feel of it, trust me, you'll be able to use it SO much better if you use it more often, you'll be faster and more accurate with it
    And heres a hint: Put a piece of a4 paper over the actual tablet, and it feels like you're drawing on paper <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> you also get more friction like with real paper so your tablet pen wont slide around
